Ayurveda also holds that the condition may occur due to the dominance of certain dosha subtypes.

According to Ayurveda, managing Madhumeha (diabetes) is not limited to controlling blood sugar levels; it focuses on correcting doshic imbalances, improving Agni (digestive fire), eliminating Ama (toxins), and rejuvenating the Dhatus (tissues).
